Abstract
Integrated energy system (IES) has the characteristic of multi-energy complementarity, which increases the ability of integrated demand response (IDR). In this paper, IDR potential is divided into three parts, cuttable load, transferable load and substitutable load. IDR potential assessment index system is established to obtain the theoretical IDR potential of the park. To verify the accuracy of theoretical calculations and the economic benefits that IDR can bring, the operation model of the industrial IES at park level is established. The lowest operating cost is the goal, power balance constraints and equipment operation constraints are considered. According to the result, the park saves operating cost, which ensures its willing to participate in IDR. Comparing theoretical IDR potential with the simulated potential from optimal operation, the difference is very small. The results demonstrate that the IDR potential assessment method proposed in this paper is reasonable.
