Hydropower is clean, low-carbon renewable energy which has the advantages of low power generation cost, high efficiency and flexible regulation, etc. Therefore, With the deepening of power system reform, hydropower develops rapidly. However, the low level of intelligent production management and the weak ability of intelligent analysis and decision-making of traditional hydropower stations limit the further development of hydropower stations. The digital transformation of traditional hydropower stations can be used to promote the clean, efficient and intelligent power supply of hydropower stations. But there are few studies on the digital transformation of hydropower stations. Therefore, this paper studies and analyzes the technical route, maturity evaluation and construction planning of hydropower digital transformation. Firstly, the overall technical route of digital transformation of hydropower stations is put forward. Secondly, based on the evaluation and grade division of digital maturity, the digital transformation stage of the hydropower station is divided. Finally, the specific construction content planning of digital transformation of hydropower stations is carried out according to the stage progressive mode. This study brings new thought and references to the digital transformation path planning and construction contents of hydropower stations.
