Abstract
Abstract—Bulk power grid security coordinated defense system plays an important role in quick frequency recovery due to large-scale power shortage after DC fault. The off-line setting value of system protection has high risk of severe mismatch with the grid operation situation. Therefore, an online optimization method of system protection setting based on transient minimum frequency prediction model is proposed. According to influencing factors of transient minimum frequency, prediction model of transient minimum frequency is established. Parameters of transient minimum frequency prediction model are determined according to transient simulation results of real-time power grid operation situation. System protection setting value are optimized by the combination of transient minimum frequency prediction model and frequency control target. The effectiveness of the method is verified by an example of AC/DC hybrid power grid.
