Abstract
Stator winding waterway blockage fault is a serious body fault of water-cooled turbo-generator. Mastering the corresponding law between waterway blockage fault and stator winding temperature distribution is the premise of on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis. In this paper, a three-dimensional thermal network model for calculating the temperature of water-cooled stator winding considering the actual transposition structure is proposed. By comparing with the experimental data, the necessity of considering the transposition structure and the correctness of the calculation results are verified. Furthermore, the temperature distribution law of stator winding under different blocking positions and different blocking numbers of hollow strands is studied, and compared with the temperature distribution law obtained by the existing calculation method without considering transposition structure.
