Abstract
Building 5g base station on power tower is an effective way to realize resource integration and save national resources. However, the voltage level and installed capacity of power system and communication system are far from each other. We must take into account their lightning protection and grounding requirements, conduct comprehensive research, and put forward reliable measures to ensure the safe operation of shared tower. Based on the structure of 220kV power tower and communication machine room, the simulation model of shared tower is established, and multiple observation potentials are set in the shared tower. By analyzing and calculating the ground potential appreciation of observation points under different lightning currents, different earth resistivity and different installation positions, an important conclusion is drawn: in order to ensure the power line in communication machine room The optical cable, antenna metal support and iron tower will not be broken down. The grounding grid of communication machine room and power tower must adopt the joint grounding mode, and the improvement suggestions for the original grounding mode are put forward.
