Abstract
The voltage vector selected by the three-vector MPC control method is the synthesis of three of the eight voltage vectors. Compared with MPC, although the increase in the number of voltage vectors helps to improve the motor performance in steady-state, its dynamic characteristics is reduced. For the purpose of improving the dynamic characteristics of the motor on the basis of ensuring the steady-state performance of the three-vector MPC, a switching control method based on the three-vector MPC is proposed. This method uses single vector control at dynamic time and three vector control at steady-state time to obtain better dynamic characteristics and good steady-state performance. Experimental results exhibit that the proposed method can obtain better dynamic characteristics and good steady-state performance at the same time.
