Abstract
In order to study the application of photoacoustic spectroscopy in detection and analysis of SF6 decomposition gas, the infrared absorption characteristic spectra of SF6 decomposition gases were obtained through literature research, and the infrared characteristic spectra of three kinds of target gas (CO, SO2, and H2S) were determined. A SF6 decomposition gas detection system based on PAS was designed, the corresponding filters of these typical decomposition gases were determined, and the experimental sample gas was tested by this detection system. The results showed that photoacoustic signal and the concentration have a perfect linear relationship, this detection system can qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the SF6 decomposition gases, which could be applied to online monitor the SF6 decomposition gases.
