Abstract
Abstract: In applications of parallel DC power supplies, active current balancing requires current sensing and extra control loop, which limits the application of parallel power supply in low-cost power supply system. To solve this problem, a load share circuit is proposed, realizing automatic current balancing through the characteristics of the circuit topology. Dependence of current balancing control on current sensing and signal transmission between modules are eliminated, achieving low-cost parallel power supply system by adopting commercially available general power supplies. The working principle and expected performance of the circuit are analyzed in detail, and a 24V 6A test prototype is built to verify the theoretical analysis.
