Abstract
This work focuses on the converter control link of variable speed pumped storage unit, proposed the principle of dynamic correction for AC excitation system of variable speed pumped storage unit, based on the dynamic correction method widely used in synchronous generator. According to the best second order parameter rule, the parameter setting derivation of converter control loops is completed. Without changing the stability of the system, the simulation case verified the parameters adjustment effects.
