Abstract
Autonomous driving era is coming. As we all know, autonomous traffic flow system has different properties compared with man-controlled one. So, in this paper, in order to discover the difference between them, we presented a discrete sampling control model with zero-order hold for autonomous traffic flow system. We first analyzed the main components of an intelligent car to understand its mechanism, then we built its continuous model based on Bando’s OVM, and thirdly we brought out the discretion method for continuous system’s transfer function by using the z-transform. At last, we analyzed the stability and transient response of the system by computer simulation. The numerical simulations results verified our theoretical supposition.
