Abstract
Intelligent connected vehicle(ICV) has got world-wide interests in recent years. China, USA, Japan, and European Union have established different types of demonstration zones, research institutions, engineering centers to promote the development of the ICV industry. In addition, different development policies of the ICV industry have been put forward in different countries, which aims to improve the traffic safety, and enhance the national scientific and technological competitiveness. In this context, this paper summarizes the world-wide industrial developmental policies such as USA、EU、Japan and China. Then, a SWOT study is conducted to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Chinese ICV industry. Finally, some policy recommendations for the development of Chinese ICV industry are presented.
