Abstract
Urban rail transit is not only an intensive passenger transport mode, but also an effective baton for urban space development. This study takes Chengdu as an example to analyze the catchment area and impact of stations on surrounding land. The research shows, the catchment area of common station, terminal station and transfer station are respectively 300m, 400m and 600m. Additionally, the influence is related to the station type, station level and station transit mode. The results of this study will help related research to further develop and guide the relevant engineering practice.
