Abstract
In order to study the influencing factors of traffic safety between right-turn motor vehicles and straight non-motor vehicles at urban signalized intersections, the serious grade of conflict is divided into four ordered grades: mild, medium, more serious and serious. By analyzing the characteristics of traffic flow, the generalized ordered logit model is used to analyze the related factors affecting the severity of the conflict, and then the marginal effect is used to calculate the influence degree of each influencing factor on the severity of traffic conflict. The results show that the traffic volume of right-turn motor vehicles and straight non-motor vehicles, the proportion of electric bicycle, the proportion of large and medium-sized vehicles, and whether or not to set up non-motor vehicles waiting areas will significantly affect the severity of the conflict, and the grade can be effectively lowed by setting up non-motor vehicle waiting area and controlling large and medium-sized vehicles entering intersections.
