Abstract
Drivers' weak safety awareness is the most important reasons for the high incidence of road traffic accidents in China. With the promotion of the "Internet + transportation" travel mode, ride-hailing drivers are emerging as a new group. Therefore, investigation and evaluation of safety awareness of ride-hailing drivers have an important significance for improving the level of road traffic safety in China. 216 Chinese ride-hailing drivers were studied using the safety awareness questionnaire from three dimensions: risk perception, risk attitude and risk behavior, through online or traditional surveying. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS. The results show that, the level of risk cognition, risk attitude and risk behavior of Chinese Ride-hailing Drivers is different, and the safety awareness of all samples is generally at a medium level, with great room for improvement. The influence of background variables on driver's safety awareness is different. Among them, gender and age have no significant impact on safety awareness, driving age only has significant impact on risk behavior, and accumulated driving mileage, full-time and part-time differences and the number of accidents in the last three years have significant impact on safety awareness and index variables.
