Abstract
The implementation of Dalian 3+ lane improves the traffic efficiency during commuting period, but due to the fact that there are fewer vehicles with more than 3 passengers in actual commuting period, the traffic efficiency of 3+ lane may not be fully utilized. On this basis, this paper puts forward the assumption that when the number of passengers does not meet 3 people, 3+ lanes can be used to pay a certain fee. Based on the survey data of 3 + lane use intention in Dalian and MNL model theory, the utility models of 3+ lane, common lane and detour are established, and the influencing factors of 3+ lane use intention are compared and analyzed. The results show that time, cost and the charge of 3 + lane are the key factors to affect the choice behavior of the travelers. Through the sensitivity analysis of the charge, it is concluded that when the charge of 3+ lane is between 10 yuan and 20 yuan, the traffic efficiency of 3+ lane can be guaranteed and the traffic pressure of ordinary lane can be relieved
