With the increasing number of RVs and the increasing travel demands, the construction of RV campsites in expressway service areas has become one of the important function expansion of integration of transportation and travel in expressway service areas. This research discusses the idea of RV camps in the expressway service areas according to the demand for RV travels. Based on the rational and effective utilization of resources and the promotion of economic benefit of service areas, this research proposed the classification of RV camps in service areas, and the principles and method of the layout and location selection of the RV camps in the expressway service areas. This study also made an empirical analysis.
