Abstract
The temporary Tower Anchorage construction technology applied to the construction of self anchored suspension bridge has safety and efficiency, and can avoid the prominent problem of using traditional support construction technology to affect the existing traffic. The key temporary structure of the construction technology system is the tower-beam thrust device, which transfers the horizontal component of the main cables during the hoisting process of the main beams, which plays an important role in the construction safety. Therefore, a safe and reliable design of tower-beam thrust device is proposed, and the applicable calculation method of PBL shear connectors is defined. Taking a self anchored suspension bridge as an engineering case, the tower-beam thrust device is designed according to the process flow, and the refined finite element model is established to analyze its mechanical properties. The results show that the mechanical properties of each component of the tower-beam thrust device meet the design requirements, which verifies the rationality and feasibility of the device design.
