Abstract
This paper aims to investigate the durability of a newly developed powder geopolymer grouting material (S-F powder Geopolymer), which can be used to fill void beneath cement pavement slab and to repair crack of cement-stabilized base of asphalt pavement. Water resistance, water absorption, erosion of acid, alkali and sulfate, salt-petering, toughness and anti-freeze-thaw tests were conducted to assess the durability of S-F powder Geopolymer. Results show that S-F powder Geopolymer has good water resistance. The specimen’s strength decreases after soaking in three solutions (HCl, NaOH and Na2SO4 solution). The salt-petering characteristic of S-F powder Geopolymer is obtained. In addition, S-F powder Geopolymer has better toughness than PO42.5 and better impact resistance especially in the early stage. However, the anti-freeze-thaw performance is weak, which is not good for use in the freeze-thaw region. The results of this research can provide references for the field engineering application of this material.
