Soft open point (SOP) has the ability to control active power and balance load of feeders. Energy storage integrated SOP can further improve the flexibility of SOP power exchange, and realize the transfer of electric energy in spatial and temporal dimensions. Energy storage integrated SOP can reduce line loss caused by unbalanced load between feeders and promote the consumption of distributed generators (DGs), and finally improving the operation economy of active distribution network (ADN). Therefore, this paper firstly establishes the power model of energy storage integrated SOP. Then the economic operation optimization model of ADN with energy storage integrated SOP is established. Considering the difficulty of solution, the model is further transformed into a second-order cone model. Finally, the effectiveness of the optimization model is verified on the modified IEEE 33-node system.
