In order to investigate the heat and mass transfer law of the internal parts of the permanent magnet synchronous motor and analyze the influence of the change of the structure size on the temperature rise, a 50kW permanent magnet synchronous motor is used as the object of study, and a half-domain model of the full length in the axial direction and 1/2 in the circumferential direction is established according to the original three-dimensional solution model, and the solution models corresponding to different size schemes are established according to the slot size. The temperature field of each dimension is calculated separately by the finite volume method, and the temperature rise of each part of the motor is compared when the slot width and the slot depth are varied separately, which reveals the distribution of temperature rise of the internal parts of the motor under the effect of different slot dimensions.
