Beam scanning uniformity is an important parameter of electron irradiation accelerators, which affects the quality of irradiated products. Therefore, accurate measurement of beam scanning uniformity is essential. When the beam power is high, the measurement device will have heating problem, which challenge the stability of the device. In this paper, based on real-time beam scanning uniformity detection device, the cooling structure of electron collector is designed, and the temperature distribution of electron collector is simulated by ANSYS under different beam power. When the total beam power is 30kw and 50kw respectively, the appropriate cooling flow rate is selected to ensure stability of the device. The electron collector with cooling structure was fabricated according to design parameters, and the experiment was carried out under a 1.7MeV accelerator. The temperature was monitored by an infrared thermometer. The results show that the temperature is below the limit and consistent with the simulation results.
