Abstract
The steady-state thermal circuit model based on IEC 60287 standard is widely used to analyze the ampacity of submarine cable due to the high efficiency. However, the value selection of some parameters only refers to the range given by IEC 60287 standard in the existing thermal circuit models, without specific suggestions. In this paper, a method for steady-state thermal circuit model optimization of AC XLPE submarine cable based on genetic algorithm is proposed, which improves the accuracy of the steady-state thermal circuit model.
