Abstract
Analyzing the conducting characteristics of the grounding grid and its measurement method is a necessary means to discover the hidden safety hazards of the grounding grid, which ensures the safe operation. Accurately evaluating the state of the grounding grid is the key to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system. Conducting impedance can reflect the parameters and basic state of the grounding grid, so it is necessary to study the characteristics of the unit impedance of the substation grounding conductor. In order to solve the calculation problem of the conduction impedance of the irregular conductor section, the paper uses the finite element method to solve it. By simulating the current distribution on the conductor cross-section and considering the non-linear characteristics of the conductor, the paper conducts an effective study on the characteristics of the unit impedance of the grounding conductor.
