Abstract
In this work, corrosion of galvanized steel at various direct current (DC) densities was investigated in NaCl solution. In order to evaluate the influence of DC stray current on corrosion interference, the open circuit potential (OCP), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and polarization curve of working electrode after various DC current densities in different NaCl solutions were measured by three-electrode system, and the corrosion morphology was observed by Scan Electron Microscope (SEM) and Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopy (LSCM). And the increased DC current density could improve the corrosion potential of galvanized steel, especially in a high NaCl concentration solution.
