The10th Asian Conference on Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (ACRA2022)

Prof. Yean-Der Kuan received Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA in 2000. Then he served as an Assistant and Associated Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Taipei City University of Science and Technology from Aug. 2001 to July 2007. He joined the Department of Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Energy Engineering, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taichung, as an Associate Professor in Aug. 2007. He became a full professor since Feb. 2010. Since Aug. 2016, he is awarded as a distinguished professor at Chin-Yi University of Technology. He served as the chair of the Department of Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Energy Engineering, National Chin-Yi University of Technology in Feb. 2013~ Jan. 2019. He has published over forty peer review journal papers and the principal investigator for many research projects. His research interests include the fields of computer-aided engineering, engineering saving, renewable energies, and air-conditioning system.
