Abstract
Due to the complicated spatial layout of parking lots in urban complexes, different parking spaces reflect various demand characteristics. Comprehensively considering the meanings of parking demand evaluation to various people, this article proposes 3 objectives of balance, efficiency, and convenience. Using multi-source spatial-temporal data, an evaluation system with 3 criteria and 11 indexes on parking-space level is established. Taking into account the practical meaning and mathematical relevance of these indexes, this article uses the subjective and objective combined weighting based on AHP and improved CRITIC method. After scoring, k-means clustering on low-score parking spaces is performed to diagnose the causes. This article uses a complex in Nanjing as a case study This research may help fill the gap in the study of parking demand characteristics in urban complex on parking-space level, and provide guidance for parking design and management.
