Abstract
When evenly distributed overlong cargo weight is loaded on a flat wagon with one overhanging end, the allowable load of the overlong cargo is affected by the gravity center deviation of the cargo from the lateral centerline of the wagon and the vertical dynamic load generated by the cargo. At present, China's “Railway Freight Loading and Reinforcement Rules” considers only one of the influencing factors of the allowable load of evenly distributed overlong cargo weight with one overhang end. The consideration is not comprehensive. Therefore, this paper comprehensively considers the two influencing factors to carry out simulation experiments. Finally, the leading factor affecting allowable load of evenly distributed overlong cargo weight with one overhang end is determined, and the suitable condition of each regulation is discussed. This paper can provide a scientific and theoretical basis for improving railway cargo loading theory.
