        With the increase in the number of highway tunnels in China, some shortcomings in the design safety, service level and maintenance of tunnels have become increasingly prominent. As one of the important factors affecting traffic safety, driver comfort and maintenance cost, tunnel lighting still has a lot of room for improvement. To find out the current problems of tunnel lighting, this paper makes a comprehensive analysis from three perspectives of tunnel lighting users, designers and maintainers based on questionnaires for different subjects, and puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies.
