Abstract
The establishment of curb parking spaces can effectively relieve the tight situation of urban parking supply and demand. However, road resources are always limited. As parking spaces occupy road resources and squeeze road width, the capacity of road sections will be reduced. It is of theoretical significance and practical value to study the influence of curb parking on traffic capacity for alleviating traffic congestion and improving road traffic safety.
This paper will analyze the reasons for the impact of curb parking behavior on road capacity and the influence mechanism of various influencing factors of curb parking on traffic capacity. By using the method of traffic conflict technology, the influence of curb parking behavior on traffic capacity will be studied and a model of the influence of curb parking on road capacity will be constructed.
