Abstract
In finite control set model predictive current control (FCS-MPCC) drive system, aiming at the system performance degradation caused by parameter changes and permanent magnet loss of excitation, a finite control set model free predictive current control (FCS-MFPCC) method for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) is proposed. First, FCS-MPCC is introduced by the conventional mathematical model of PMSM. Then, to enhance the robust performance of drive system, a model free sliding mode controller (MFSMC) is built instead of the conventional PI controller in the speed loop, in which a sliding mode observer is designed to estimate the unidentified part of the ultra-local model. Additionally, to further enhance the robust performance, the stator current is predicted by establishing another ultra-local model instead of the conventional PMSM model. Simulation results reveal that the proposed FCS-MFPCC has the preferable robust performance against motor parameters deviation and disturbances.
