Abstract
As the speed of high-speed train increases, the lateral resonance of train body at low frequency will occur[1]. Aiming at promoting vibration isolation performance of suspension system at low frequency, a magnetorheological (MR) semi-active suspension system with variable damping (VD) and variable inertance (VI) for high-speed train based on traditional MR shock absorber was developed in this paper[2,3]. Firstly, a full-channel-efficient magnetorheological damper (MRD) was designed, of which the maximum output force was increased by increasing the effective length of damping channel. Its magnetic circuit structure was demonstrated feasible via finite element analysis. After that, a hydraulic magnetorheological inerter (MRI) was designed, in which the flywheel was placed in magnetorheological fluid (MRF). The rotation torque of flywheel was adjusted through changing the MRF viscosity, which can control the inertance. Then, a 17 degree-of-freedom lateral dynamic model of high speed train and a VDVI-MRD mechanical model were established. The impact of damping and inertance on the lateral dynamic performance of train body was analyzed. And then the control strategy was proposed according to analysis results. Finally, the influences of passive suspension, pure VD suspension, and VDVI suspension on vehicle dynamic performance were analyzed by simulation. The results show that the VDVI semi-active suspension system has better performance in reducing the low-frequency resonance of the high-speed train.
