The recent realization of topological semimetals has significantly expanded the scope of topological materials. Recently, rare-earth (RE) monopnictides/bismuthides (RESb/REBi) have attracted great research interest as potential candidates for correlated topological semimetals. We investigated the electrical transport properties of a YSb single crystal sample under both ambient and high pressure conditions, and observed a low-temperature resistance plateau and an extremely large magnetoresistance (XMR), reaching 104% at 2K and 9T. Pressure strongly suppresses the XMR, with a value of only 0.038% at 7.05 GPa. Furthermore, the nonlinear behavior of the Hall resistance at different pressures indicates the coexistence of electrons and holes in YSb, which may be explained by a two-band model.
