There has been relatively significant progress regarding the selection of fusion materials for plasma-facing components (PFCs) in advanced fusion facilities, such as ITER . Nevertheless, there are a number of outstanding problems related to these fusion materials. This work aims to investigate the interaction of the plasma flux with fusion materials in a pulsed plasma accelerator. The values of plasma flux energy density and duration in an accelerator are ~ 1 MJ/m2 and 0.3 ms, respectively. Graphite and tungsten plates with 15 × 15 mm in size and 2 mm thick were used as targets. The dust cup was used to collect and investigate the morphology of dust particles.
