A lattice parameter can be used to characterize the quality of single crystals and the equation of state for materials if it is measured with a high enough accuracy. The single crystal XRD using laser-induced x-ray is a divergent geometry, and for any XRD line, the X-ray interaction points at the sample gather into not a point but a curve. But for the data processing, the X-ray interaction points are usually considered as a point and it limits the accuracy of lattice parameter. So we proposed an iterative method to find the interaction curves and improve the accuracy of lattice parameter. Our method was verified by analysis for a single crystal XRD experiment of iron and the accuracy is improved to 2% from 4%.A lattice parameter can be used to characterize the quality of single crystals and the equation of state for materials if it is measured with a high enough accuracy.
