Abstract: In order to solve the problem of inaccurate manual wind measurement in modern coal mines, this article studied the distribution characteristics of wind speed in typical tunnels of Hulusu Coal Mine by measuring and numerical simulation methods. The distribution characteristics of wind flow field under the influence of different shapes of large sections and internal obstacles were studied, and the "characteristic loop" of wind speed distribution in large section tunnels such as main transportation, auxiliary transportation, and return air was obtained. The layout method of ultrasonic wind speed sensors was established. The research results provide theoretical support and technical guidance for the accurate measurement of wind speed in large cross-section tunnels of coal mines.
