  Mine gas explosion brings a serious disaster and threat to coal mine production, in order to control the danger of gas explosion in restricted space and grasp the law of gas explosion propagation and its destruction, this paper systematically analyzes the research results of domestic and foreign scholars, and reviews them categorically by the influencing factors of gas explosion and its propagation, indicating the current major problems. The research results show that: the research on the mechanism, influencing factors, explosive destruction characteristics, and transmission characteristics of gas explosion is very deep, and has been fruitful, some of the theoretical achievements have become part of the gas explosion theory. But in theoretical analysis, simplifications and assumptions are often made, and many influencing factors are difficult to quantitatively describe and establish an effective mathematical model of multifactorial coupling; Cannot simultaneously synthesize experiments to determine the comprehensive effects of multiple factors at the time of experimental research, it is difficult to determine the synergistic effects and coupling effects of multiple factors, the simultaneous experiments have problems such as scale effects; In the numerical simulation analysis process, usually, a large number of assumptions and corrections of the corresponding parameters are performed, meanwhile, targeted software and modules are lacking.
