Evaluation of inhibitor function of antioxidants in lignite combined with PCA methodology

Currently, the comprehensive exploration of the rapid progress of science and technology has been having a driving hold on global industry, particularly resulting in the blooming development of coal mining, which requires a safer storage demand. In light of advantages of antioxidants that cover ample selection for various protected targets, utilization process of environment friendly and high efficiency of antioxidation, the employment of tea polyphenols, resveratrol, and β-carotene is conducted for the inhibition of coal spontaneous combustion. The characteristics of lignite acted by antioxidants are identified during the oxidation. On a microscopic perspective, infrared spectrum test was executed to investigate the specific variation of main active groups with antioxidants addition. In addition, under the heating rates of 5 °C/min, 10 °C/min, and 15 °C/min, synchronous thermal analysis was used to analyze the heat flow and thermophysical parameters of lignite mixed with antioxidants on a macroscopic quest. To establish the deep relationships between active groups and heat release, principal component analysis is adopted and the synthesizing evaluation function is given to estimate the influence degree of dimensions involved before. Ultimately, inhibitory effect of each antioxidant aiming at lignite is determined and the relationship between their parameters of physicochemical properties is concluded of by virtue of PCA methodology in quantitative.
