The noise pollution of transformers is becoming increasingly serious with the continuous improvement of their quantity, capacity, and voltage level. It is urgent to take effective measures to reduce transformer noise. In order to explore the influence of operating parameters on the noise of transformers with different rated capacities, a 110kV series transformer model was built based on the finite element simulation platform. The electromagnetic-mechanical-acoustic multi-physical field coupling method is used to simulate and analyze the sound field distribution of each rated capacity transformer under different operating parameters. The results indicate that the noise of transformers with different rated capacities increases with the increase of operating parameters such as magnetic flux density and magnetostriction effect. The obtained results can provide a basis and reference for transformer noise reduction and design.
