Aiming at the problem of third-party enterprises configuring the photovoltaic energy storage system for the user side, this paper comprehensively considers various factors such as the user side load demand, photovoltaic equipment output and energy storage capacity decay over time, time-of-use electricity price, and establishes a capacity configuration model with the goal of maximizing the net present value of the whole life cycle of the photovoltaic energy storage system. The model realizes the optimal capacity configuration and obtains the optimal operation strategy of the photovoltaic energy storage system. A certain project example verifies the effectiveness of the capacity configuration model, and the sensitivity analysis shows that the model can be used to select the optimal capacity according to the change of the investment cost or the change of the time-of-use electricity price, which has practical application value in engineering.
