The cantilever beam-type PVDF piezoelectric film sensor are commonly utilized to vibration signal detection due to its simple structures and ease of processing. Traditional cantilevered PVDF piezoelectric film sensors are susceptible to the influence of the second-order vibration mode, which limits their measurement bandwidth. This study is based on the principle of cantilevered piezoelectric film sensors to design a dual cantilever PVDF piezoelectric film sensor. The design was validated through finite element simulations and subsequently realized with fabrication and experimental testing. The results show that the designed sensor has a greater sensitivity and a broader measuring bandwidth.
