Abstract
 With the development of copper smelting technology, China's copper production grows year by year, while the emission of copper slag also grows year by year. Copper slag as a secondary resource with utilization value, copper and iron content, are higher than the ore mining grade. Generally at present, the research of copper slags utilization technology is mostly concentrated in the separate extraction of copper or iron alone, failing to make copper and iron at the same time to be effectively utilized. Simultaneous extraction of copper and iron research is less, and most of the use of gas reducing agent, but the gas in the reaction system in the existence of a short time, low utilization. Based on this, this study proposes a new idea of preparing copper-iron alloy by using coke melt reduction of copper slag. In this thesis, the thermodynamics of the process of coke reduction of copper slag was analyzed, and the effects of reaction temperature, CaO addition, reductant addition and holding time on the reduction process were investigated by one-way experiments.
