Abstract
This study investigates the application of laser remanufacturing technology in enhancing the performance of key components in mining equipment, with a focus on lifespan extension and reliability improvement. Given the challenging working conditions in industries such as mining, marine engineering, and metallurgy, where heavy-duty equipment operates under high speeds, heavy loads, and harsh environments, the rising failure rates and scrap rates of equipment necessitate effective remanufacturing techniques to enhance their longevity and performance. Employing vibration-assisted laser remanufacturing, this research optimizes process parameters and analyzes the principles and procedures of residual stress management and performance adjustment. Through experiments conducted under various process conditions, key components of mining equipment undergo laser remanufacturing, followed by comprehensive performance evaluation and analysis. Results indicate that vibration-assisted laser remanufacturing effectively reduces residual stress and significantly enhances the surface quality and performance of critical mining equipment components. Remanufactured parts exhibit improved strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance under different process conditions, ultimately extending their lifespan and reliability. In conclusion, the combination of laser remanufacturing technology with vibration assistance presents an effective approach to enhancing the performance of key components in mining equipment, thereby prolonging their operational lifespan. This research provides novel insights and methods for the maintenance and repair of mining equipment, contributing to advancements in the field and offering practical solutions for industry practitioners.
