Technology and application of copper alloy materials for high voltage vacuum interrupters

SF₆ switch technology is dominate technology for high voltage switch gear application.But SF₆ is strong green house gas,With carbon peak and carbon carbon neutrality requirement all around world,Switch gear manufacturer in china and overseas start theirs R&D and manufacture of high voltage vacuum switch gear.High voltage circuit breaker is effective way to reduce SF6 emission.This paper focus on Cu alloy used for high voltage vacuum interrupter and its advantage and disadvantage also give some introduction of manufacture way of produce those materials.Based on traditional manufacture way of CuCr contact materials and Cu alloy,Trough technical innovation to improve microstructure, gas content ,purity and high temperature resistance which meet requirements of high voltage interrupter application.
