Abstract
In present study, we focus on the whole eastern Chinese seas within 200 meters of the isobath, and hypothesize that SGD would be an important factor to influence the biogeochemical cycles of nutrients and carbon. High-resolution 228Ra and 226Ra data obtained enable the SGD flux into eastern Chinese seas, and then evaluate the contribution of SGD delivering dissolved inorganic nutrients and dissolved carbon. To achieve this issue, we applied a typical mass balance model of 228Ra and 226Ra, and each source and sink of 228Ra and 226Ra were obtain in detailed calculation.
