Abstract: The benefit of regional tourism space development is an essential basis for the evolution of high-quality tourism. Developing high-quality tourism in Guangxi is a crucial way to promote local economic development. The paper uses the relevant index data of Guangxi tourism development from 2010 to 2021. Explore the space-time effect of the tourism economy through the spatial Dubin model. At the same time, geographical detectors are used to analyze the primary and secondary factors and interactive effects of tourism economic development. The studies show: (1) The tourism economic income of Guangxi shows a spatial negative correlation. (2) Each explanatory variable promotes the tourism economic income in the local and surrounding cities. (3) The total number of tourists received, the number of A-level and above scenic spots, and the number of tourism institutions are the core factors for developing tourism economic income. The level of tourism development is the result of the joint promotion of multiple industries and multiple subjects. Regional coordinated development will drive local economic development and improve residents' income and consumption ability. This paper expounds on the primary and secondary factors affecting the income of the tourism economy in Guangxi. We also analyzed various explanatory variables' influence degrees and interpretation intensities on local and surrounding tourism.
