Manufacturing defects can introduce uncertainty in the magnetic properties of electrical steel, necessitating stochastic modelling of magnetization curves. The interdependence among input parameters in magnetization modelling is often overlooked. Therefore, this study proposes a stochastic modelling method for magnetization curves based on copula theory, which accounts for the dependencies among the input parameters. First, the three input parameters are identified, and their optimal marginal distributions are determined. Then, the correlation structure these parameters is constructed using Copula theory. The stochastic modelling based on Copula theory is finally verified by numerical experiments, reflecting the correlation between the parameters and generating more accurate samples of magnetization curves for electrical steel. The proposed method enhances the accuracy of magnetization modelling for electrical steel, crucial for reliability analysis and the engineering design of electrical equipment.
