Axial flux machine have been developed rapidly and received much attention due to its compact axial dimension.  There are many kinds of structures for axial permanent magnet machines. Among them, the single-rotor dual-stator structure is very suitable for low-speed and high-torque applications due to its unique structural characteristics that the magnetic pull on the rotor is balanced. In this structure, the winding forms mainly include fractional-slot concentrated winding and integer-slot distributed winding, and different winding structures have different advantages and disadvantages.In this paper, the single-rotor dual-stator axial flux motors with different winding structures are analyzed and compared, and combining the advantages of different windings, a new winding structure is proposed.
