This paper proposes a co-optimization method of coil and circuit for enhancing the repetitive discharge performance of transcranial magnetic stimulation systems. The design of the coil and circuit in TMS systems is crucial for therapeutic efficacy. Existing optimization methods often focus solely on coil performance, neglecting the interaction with the circuit. This paper establishes a mathematical model of TMS system discharge and constructs a model of the coil's electromagnetic field distribution based on finite element analysis. Using a particle swarm optimization algorithm, the coil structure is optimized with the goal of reducing the energy loss per discharge, while satisfying specific coil performance criteria. The results show that, compared to existing coils, the optimized coil achieves a 54.51% reduction in energy loss per discharge with the same target electromagnetic field intensity and a 25.85% decrease in required capacitor voltage, resulting in a higher repetitive discharge frequency. This method provides a new approach for the design and optimization of TMS systems.
