Abstract
For a long time China has built a number of thermal power, hydropower and other dominant huge AC synchronous power grid, in a long period of time, the conventional synchronous machine power supply will still be the main supportive power supply of China's power grid. With the promotion of double carbon target, the new power system construction process is accelerating, the new energy accounted for a substantial increase in the stability of the grid, especially the voltage stability problem is prominent, in the high proportion of new energy grid and other occasions, after the failure of the low-voltage and over-voltage problems are intertwined with the deterioration of the impedance characteristics of the system triggered broadband oscillation, the basic strength of the power system has been a serious challenge to limit the ability of new energy acceptance. The Grid-supporting technology can improve the system inertia and short circuit capacity, improve the short circuit ratio of new energy multi-site stations, improve the impedance characteristics of the grid, can effectively reconcile the various problems faced by the development of new energy, and is a key technology for the construction of a new type of power system.
