Abstract
In this paper, the mathematical models of neutral point voltage (NPC) and cmv are analysed. A novel model prediction (MPC) control strategy is proposed to suppress the common-mode voltage (CMV) of a three-level inverter using the modulation technique of virtual two-vectors. The strategy reduces current ripple and THD by constructing virtual vectors. Each virtual vector with low cmv amplitude also has the ability to regulate the NPV balance. Finally, this paper verifies that the algorithm has good results in output waveform quality, (total harmonic distortion) THD, NPV fluctuation, and cmv stability through simulation results.
